Most couples spend a great deal of time, energy, and money on a wedding day that lasts for a few hours. Given that nearly half of today's marriages end in divorce, it would be wise to spend a few hours acquiring relationship skills to build a marriage that could last 50 years!

I offer two convenient ways that a couple can invest in this "Building a Strong Marriage" experience. All counseling sessions are held in my home. As a certified premarital counselor by the Florida Clerk of Courts, you will be awarded a Certificate of Completion. Each couple will receive $32.50 off the marital license at the time of purchasing the Marriage License.

Option # 1 Individual Couple Counseling

In the privacy of my home, you will be provided an atmosphere of privacy and confidentiality. A minimum of one (two or three- hour sessions) is required to obtain the Certificate of Completion award. Two premarital tests are required to be completed prior to the counseling session(s): (1) Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis Profile", and (2) "Prepare", an online test developed by Life Innovations. Cost - (1) Testing, $70.00; (2) Counseling, $60 per hour.

Optional # 2 Small Group Counseling

This three-hour session involves 2-3 couples in the privacy of my home.  Each couple will be asked to complete the "TJTA" premarital test prior to the group session. The content of the seminar focuses on understanding the purpose of marriage, communication skills, budget & financial goals, identifying & discovering your primary &secondary emotional love language, and developing your personal, couple, and family goals.  Cost: $100 per couple

Most sessions are scheduled on Monday or Tuesday evenings; Saturday mornings.

Obtaining your marriage license- Your license can be obtained in any county within sixty (60) days prior to the wedding date!

While premarital counseling is not required, I do encourage this investment to protect your marriage from failure. There will be guaranteed dividends on your decision to develop an exciting relationship.
